The 3-step method (works everywhere)
- Copy the tweet URL. On the X app, tap the share icon under the post and choose Copy link. On the web, click the timestamp under a tweet and copy the URL from your address bar. Both
twitter.com/...andx.com/...work. - Paste it into ClipB8. Drop the link into the box at the top of this page and hit Load Videos. ClipB8 fetches every video, GIF, and audio track in the post.
- Pick your quality and download. Choose 1080p / 720p / 480p MP4, or hit the MP3 button to get audio only. The file saves directly to your device.
Downloading on iPhone
On iOS, tap-and-hold the download button and choose Download Linked File, or tap it normally and the video opens in a new tab — from there, share it to Save to Files or Save to Photos. Safari sometimes routes MP4 downloads to the Files app's Downloads folder; check there if the video doesn't appear in your camera roll right away.
Downloading on Android
Chrome on Android handles MP4 downloads natively — the file lands in your Downloads folder and shows up in Google Photos and your Gallery app within a few seconds.
Downloading on Mac & Windows
On desktop, the MP4 saves straight to your Downloads folder. If your browser previews the video instead of downloading it, right-click the page and choose Save Video As….
What about private or deleted tweets?
ClipB8 only works with publicly visible content. Posts from protected accounts, deleted tweets, and DMs can't be accessed without logging in as a follower — no third-party tool can legally bypass that.
